McCormick County Senior Center offers a wide range of programs and activities for our local citizens age 60-plus. Our daily programs for seniors include morning coffee and conversation, organized activities and dining in our cafe.
Our Services
Congregate Dining
Lunches are served Monday through Friday at noon in our dining room. Patrons must pre-qualify by calling Upper Savannah Council of Governments at 864-941-8069, AND then make lunch reservations by 2 p.m. on the day before their desired dining.
Daily Activities
Beginning at 9 a.m. each Monday through Friday, we welcome our 60-plus citizens to join us for coffee, conversation and daily activities such as checkers, puzzles and even group exercise sessions.
Meals On Wheels
We are affiliated with Meals On Wheels and offer healthful meals to those who are homebound. Patrons must pre-qualify by calling the Upper Savannah Council of Governments at 864-941-8069. For more information, contact Wendy Willis at 864-852-3759.
Transportation
Through MAT Transit, we offer low-cost transportation options for seniors who need to attend medical appointments, perform essential shopping and banking and other daily activities.
